How It's Won

A real league,
then a knockout.

Weeks 1–5 are league play on the same points system the big leagues run — La Liga, the Prem, Serie A. Every result moves the table. Week 6 settles it in a bracket.

League Play Weeks 1–5

All eight teams play weekly. Standings are ranked by points, and the side top of the table at the end of Week 5 is crowned league champion — the first trophy of the season.

Play-offs Week 6

Final standings set the seeds. The top two are rewarded with a bye. Everyone else fights through the bracket, reseeded so the highest-ranked team always draws the lowest survivor — right down to the final and the second trophy.

Seed

Final league standings rank all eight teams 1 through 8 by points.

Bye

1st and 2nd sit out Round 1. Seeds 3–8 play in to earn their place.

Reseed

Survivors reseed: 1st draws the lowest, 2nd the next-lowest, and so on.

Final

Winners advance until two remain. Lift the play-off trophy.

Note on pairings: with 8 teams and two byes, a round can land on an odd number of teams. When it does, the extra bye goes to the highest remaining seed — the table keeps rewarding the top. The live bracket fills in on the Schedule page once Week 5 sets the seeds.

MVP

Two MVPs, two reels

An MVP is named for the league and again for the play-offs. Each winner takes home a personal season highlight reel of their best clips.

One for topping the table across Weeks 1–5, one for winning the Week 6 knockout. Win both if you can.

Clean Sheets

Keepers counted too

Shutouts are tracked per goalkeeper — defense earns its place on the leaderboard alongside the scorers.

Know before you ball

Standard futsal and soccer laws apply. On top of those, here's what every team agrees to at sign-up.

Squads

8 players, men's only

Five on the court, three on the bench. Rolling subs. Rosters are locked at registration.

Shirts

Numbered 1–8

Every player is assigned a squad number from 1 to 8 when the team registers.

Match

50 minutes

Two 25-minute halves with a 5-minute break in between. One referee per match — the referee's call is final.

Kick-off

Start on time

Matches begin exactly when scheduled. Turn up late and the clock is already running. A no-show forfeits the match.

Short-handed

Fewer than four

Arrive with three or fewer players and the match goes down as a loss. You can still play it out with fill-ins, but the result stands.

Eligibility

ID required · no ringers

Every player submits a photo ID at registration. Field anyone not on your locked roster and the team is disqualified.

Conduct

Fighting = banned

Start a fight or cause a serious scene and you're suspended for the season — with longer bans, up to years, for serious offences.

Referee

One ref, final say

Each match is officiated by a single referee. Their decisions on the day are final — no appeals mid-game.

Laws

Futsal rules apply

All normal futsal and soccer rules are in effect throughout the league and the play-offs.
